PRAYER FOCUS FOR 10 DAYS
Our city Pray for spiritual awakening and revival in our local community, that hearts would be open to the gospel.
Indonesia (Church Planting, Radio Ministry), Lesotho (Sepheo - children's education) Ask God to strengthen church planters and radio ministries in Indonesia, and to provide quality education and resources for children in Lesotho through Sepheo.
Uganda (Love Mercy - seed loans), Nepal (Destiny Rescue) Pray for the seed loan program in Uganda to empower families toward sustainable livelihoods, and for Destiny Rescue's work to protect vulnerable children in Nepal.
Mexico (Open Arms), India (Eye Openers) Lift up Open Arms as they serve communities in Mexico with compassion, and pray for Eye Openers' vision care ministry to restore sight and hope in India.
Local Missions (WestCare, School Scripture, Angels of Mercy), Our School (Penrith Christian School) Intercede for our local outreach work and for Penrith Christian School to be a beacon of Christ's love and truth to students and families.
Vietnam (Medical Care), Middle East (Missionary Family) Pray for medical teams bringing healing and the gospel to Vietnam, and for protection and fruitfulness for the missionary family serving in the Middle East.
Cambodia (Wells), DR Congo (Hospital, Dr Sosthene, Vocational Training) Ask God to provide clean water through well projects in Cambodia, and to bless the hospital, Dr Sosthene's work, and vocational training programs in DR Congo.
Burundi (Widows Homes), Sri Lanka (CP, Womens Conference) Pray for widows in Burundi to find shelter, dignity, and community, and for church planting and the upcoming women's conference in Sri Lanka to bear much fruit.
Liberia (Gertrude & Timothy, Church Planting, Feeding Ministry), Israel (Church Plant) Pray for Gertrude and Timothy's faithfulness in Liberia, that their church planting and feeding ministries would transform lives, and for the new church plant in Israel to flourish.
Kenya (Wings of Compassion), Uruguay (Reinhard Family) Intercede for Wings of Compassion's holistic care for vulnerable children in Kenya, and for the Reinhard family as they share the gospel and serve communities in Uruguay.
Suggestions for Fasting
Fasting is a powerful practice. When we take the initiative to fast and pray, we practice biblical values that Jesus first modeled for us.
Fasting is an act of self-denial for the sake of spiritual focus.
Join us:
- Fasting a meal or two a day.
- Turn down technology/media and turn up prayer and time in the Word.
- Use our guide to pray each day and seek God for 10 days
- Pray in community, in person or online.
We advise you to personally seek the Lord and ask Him what you should do during this fast and we encourage all who are able, to truly give God their best. We also advise you to seek a physician’s advice before you approach any type of fasting. Certain individuals may need to limit how they fast because of their physical condition, illness, age or energy needs.
