Ministry Areas
Kids & Scripture
Kids Internship is for those who have a love for children and a passion to grow in their ability to minister to children. You will be involved in Sunday services as well as scripture in schools during the week. You will assist with administration and pastoral care as well as and planning and serving with INK events such as Choctoberfest and Easter Family Fun day and church conferences. You may also be involved in creative staging and mentoring of young team depending on your gifting and experience.
Youth & Highschools
Youth Alive Academy Interns work directly with the Youth Pastors and young people with the goal to support them through one of the most exciting stages of life: the teenage years! Our Friday Nights, Youth CGs and High School outreach ministries will be blessed by your ideas, energy and passion for young people. You will become a key member of our Youth Team, while also working directly in local high schools through our Scripture program.
WestCare
As the local care arm of Imagine Nations Church, WestCare is continually driven by a compassionate desire to make a difference in the community. By providing acts of service and distributing practical resources, interns will help fulfil WestCare’s community mandate – ‘Local needs met by local people’. This will include activities including the Emergency Relief Service, Nepean Homestart, Penrith City CareKits, ‘Fresh Start Go!’ DV support, High School breakfast clubs and special events.
