First Aid – For any First aid incidents (where possible) take the child to the First Aid room which is located in the church ‘Next Steps Area’ If you are unable to move the child and/or need the first aid team to come to you please call Hayley Mullen for assistance.

Morning tea, lunch, and water are provided for all volunteers under the COLA with the children participants.
Due to limited space, our green room (parent's room) is for our guests, prop ninja crew, and workshop providers only.
Team Role Information/Snapshot:
Messy Games
Cleaning Fairy: Clean children down as best as possible using baby wipes in the auditorium after a messy game has been played. Take the children to the bathroom if required for further clean up with water. Please make sure children head back to their seats without walking through messy sections.
Game Assistant: Help the Prop Ninja team during messy game time slots. Bring in tables, buckets, and props as directed and help wipe tables down between games.
Prop Ninja: Set up games, the auditorium, and clean up all big equipment including the chocolate shower.
Workshops
Workshop Assistant: Main roles include marking rolls, taking children to the bathroom safely (always two leaders and please check the bathroom is empty before use), salvation data, sitting with children in the auditorium, and taking children to and from the auditorium, lunch areas, and workshop rooms. Please make sure you have all children and advise if any are missing or if you have any extra children. Keep your phone available to receive update texts from coordinators. Bring lunch sign back to the cola after morning tea and workshop two.
Workshop Runner: Assist Hayley Mullen with any tasks during workshop times, and help bring lost children back to their correct workshops after rolls have been marked.
After Party
Chocolate Grab Team: Take buckets to the chocolate grab area for each chocolate grab and throw out chocolate. Hand out bags to children and make sure kids go in the correct timeslot.
Community Relations:
Please introduce yourself and get to know families at the after party. Invite families to pre-register for Choctoberfest 2025. QR code flyers will be posted and some available on the day to hand out.
Catering
Lunchroom: Set up and serve morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea for all children and volunteers.
Green Room: Set up and serve morning tea and lunch to all guests, and prop ninjas. Help guests feel welcome and get to know them.
